Polina Rendak
Polina Rendak was born in the northern Russian city Petrozavodsk. At home everyone played the piano, and Polina was no exception. Nevertheless she chose to pursue Bachelor's degree in world economy and graduated from Higher School of Economics in Moscow. She also obtained Master in Finance from HEC Paris. Currently she is a financial analyst at BNP Paribas.

Being an amateur pianist, Polina won the 1st prize at the "Claviarium" piano competition for amateurs in Moscow in 2012 and the 2nd prize at the "Piano Bridges" competition in St. Petersburg the same year. Polina has participated in the "Les Amateurs virtuoses!" festival multiple times (including the 2012 edition in the Sheremetev Palace in St. Petersburg, and the 2015 edition at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris). She often plays concerts in Russia and France and performs in chamber ensembles as well as in a piano duo with Mikhail Dubov.
